Protect parent settings
Set or review the parental-control PIN. Keep it separate from information your child uses to sign in.
Check who can connect
Review voice chat, text chat, and permission for friend requests. Talk about what to do if someone becomes uncomfortable to play with.
Check content and time
Review permitted content ratings and Fortnite time-limit settings.
Check both purchase routes
Review Epic payment permissions, then separately check the console or device store used for purchases.
