Accessibility
People reach this site under stress, on old phones, on bad connections, and with a range of disabilities. It has to work for all of that.
The standard we build to
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. In practice that means:
- Semantic HTML, so screen readers announce structure correctly
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 in both light and dark themes
- Everything operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator
- A skip link to main content on every page
- Readable text, clear spacing, and layouts that adapt to your screen
- Motion reduced automatically when your device asks for that
- Captions on any video we publish
Deliberate choices
Reading content and navigation work without JavaScript. The homepage uses lightweight animation, with a Pause motion control, and respects your device’s reduced-motion setting.
