Before you start: You and your teen each need your own Discord account. Family Center linking involves both of you.

  1. Teen’s Family Center
  2. Connect with Your Guardian
  3. Invite
  4. Teen accepts
  1. Start together

Your teen opens Family Center and chooses Connect with Your Guardian to get an invitation link or QR code.

  2. Connect your accounts

Use the invitation to request the connection from your account. Your teen must accept it.

  3. Review the dashboard

Open Family Center to see the available activity information and review its safety and privacy controls together.

  4. Agree on follow-up

Discuss which servers and contacts feel comfortable, and how your teen can ask for help. Review whether weekly activity emails are useful.

Know what the controls cover

Family Center does not show the content of private conversations or let you remove friends and servers on your teen’s behalf.
