Help share
The bottleneck in a missing-child case is rarely the poster. It is how far the poster travels in the first few hours. That part is volunteer work, and it is genuinely useful.
Three ways, smallest first
- Find official alerts. Visit our Arkansas alerts page and follow the link to the original NCMEC poster.
- Put NCMEC's Poster Network on your screens. If you run a restaurant, a shop, a waiting room, or an office with a TV, NCMEC has a free Fire TV app that rotates current posters for your area. It costs nothing and takes about five minutes.
- Share the official link, not a screenshot. When you see an alert, share its official poster link. It points at the live poster, so it goes stale gracefully when the child is found.
Please don't do these
- Don't reshare screenshots. They outlive the case. Families of recovered children report seeing their child's poster circulating for years.
- Don't add your own theories about who took the child or where they are. It sends volunteers to the wrong county and it can prejudice a prosecution.
- Don't organize a search. Call the agency running the case and ask what they need. Unplanned searches contaminate scenes.
- Don't contact the family unless they have asked for contact. They are being flooded, including by scammers.
Businesses and churches
If you have a screen, a bulletin board, or a congregation, we will set you up with the official feed and a printed poster routine that stays current. It takes one conversation.
